Eligibility criteria for White Card training may vary slightly depending on the state in which you complete your course. However, across all states, no prior academic qualifications or industry experience are required to enrol in general construction induction training.

In Queensland, White Card training must be completed face-to-face, as online delivery is not permitted. Students must be at least 16 years old and provide valid identification. Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive your nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and your Queensland White Card.

No. White Cards issued after January 2012 do not expire and are recognised throughout Australia. However, if you have not worked in the construction industry for two years or more, you may be required to complete the training again before returning to site.

Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive your nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry. Your Queensland White Card will also be issued in accordance with state requirements.

Yes. A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for all nationally recognised training in Australia. If you do not already have one, you can create a free USI before attending your course and bring it with you on the day.
