White Card Training Northern Territory Course Overview
Through CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry in Northern Territory you’ll learn everything about Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) for the construction industry. By the end of the day you’ll be equipped with the basic knowledge to perform the following construction work tasks:
- Recognise and report construction hazards
- Understand the importance of hazard and risk control measures
- Identify different safety signs and symbols
- Choose the most appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including high-visibility vests and eye protection
- Demonstrate personal awareness in potentially dangerous situations
- Undertake risk management duties
- Perform safety communication to others
- Deliver emergency response procedures
- Communicate simple safety instructions and emergency response procedures
- Recognise your safety legislative requirements and other safety regulations
Once you have successfully completed this WHS construction induction training, you will receive a same-day Statement of Attainment, a Statement of Training (valid for 60 days so you can begin work immediately), and a White Card issued and sent by NT WorkSafe.

Eligibility Requirements For Our Northern Territory White Card Training
There are no academic requirements or work experience is necessary to enrol in CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry. All students must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Reside in the state of the Northern Territory
- Students must be 14 years old or older. (Please note: Students under 18 will be required to complete a Parental Consent Form)
- Be capable of effective verbal communication by asking questions to clarify instructions and pointing out a construction problem or hazard
- Possess basic English literacy skills to read and follow simple pictorial safety instructions and instructions written in English
- Possess basic numeracy skills
- Provide vaild identification as per the Evidence of Identity Requirements
- Hold a Unique Student Identifier number (USI)
On the day of the White Card Northern Territory training course, students must allow for a photo to be taken of themselves which includes their head, neck, and shoulders.
CPCWHS1001 White Card NT Course Delivery
Our Northern Territory white card course is conducted entirely in-person via face-to-face, practical training. Our training program lasts only one (1) business day, from 9am to 3pm. At the end of this face-to-face White Card Training Northern Territory session, students will complete classroom assessment tasks including a written assessment, oral & practical demonstrations.
Upon successful completion of this WHS induction course students are awarded their nationally recognised statement of attainment.

How Do I Get a Replacement White Card?
If your white card is lost or damaged you can request a replacement card by contacting us. Depending on where you are located, the following applies:
- Northern Territory: You must apply directly with the NT Government within 60 days of course completion. If you are located in the Northern Territory and do not apply for your replacement White Card from your state government within 60 days of course completion, you will require a letter from First Aid Pro stating that you have completed the course to apply.
*Please Note: We will issue a letter for students only up to 4 months after the completion of the White Card Course NT session. If over 4 months have lapsed, you will be required to attend the White Card Course again at full price.
